For short term placements, we will work towards unit level accreditation at the appropriate level of challenge for the pupil. In order to identify pupil levels and customise our curriculum offer to best match the pupil, we will conduct baseline assessments which may include:
• Cognitive Ability Testing
• Reading Age
• Dyslexia and Dyscalculia
• Pupil Attitudes
• Emotional Literacy
We will from time to time set summative and formative assessments to identify the progress made and suggest next steps/action plans and adapt teaching and learning approaches.
